How huge the Secret, since the dawn times kept:
that Christ - the Lord! - awaits within to be
my Life (and thine!) - my Nature, my New "Me"
whene’er by faith His Presence I accept;
waits to deliver me from my old "I,"

who’s plagued men’s souls since history began
and dares e’en God Himself ignore, defy ...

But now the Lord Himself (when called upon!)

So, just as you once accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue living in vital union with Him, with your roots deeply planted in Him, being continuously built up in Him, and growing stronger in faith ... so live in Him ... walk in Him ... abide in Him ... Christ, your Life ... taking every thought captive ... Put off your old nature ... old self ... old man ... which is ... corrupt through deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new nature ... new self ... new man ... put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ ... Looking unto Jesus ... my present life is not that of the old "I," but the living Christ within me ... No one who abides in Him sins ...
