February 12 ~

I have set the LORD always before me ... "The LORD is with you, while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you" ... Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his presence continually ...

Thou’d have me seek Thy Presence constantly?
At all times I’m to stay my mind on Thee
and hold Thee up before me? Dear Lord, how?
What of the many daily tasks that Thou
hast given me? How can I concentrate
on Thee and them -- give each its proper weight?

Child, I’m thy Life! And is it not through faith
thou art to put Me on? Seek Thou My face!
Wouldst thou have Me become thy Life part time?
To have My Wisdom thou must have My mind!
Invest Me, feel Me, child, in all thou do!
Return to Me each time a human view -
concern, annoyance, doubt, dislike - comes up.
Make Me thy Habit, and with Thee I’ll sup!

Christ, your Life ... Pray without ceasing ... put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ ... Looking unto Jesus ... Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee ... I have kept the Lord in mind continually; with Him beside me I cannot be disturbed ... I keep the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved ... Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him ...
