... the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord ... take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses ... The Gift of Thee, dear Jesus, I must take
and then each moment of my brief life make
Thee mine -- till I'm so bound to Thee by faith,
mine eyes so firmly fixed upon Thy Face,
that Thou art able, Lord, to constant flow
into my lowly soul and make me whole!

'Tis to this end that ev'rything Thou send
is fashioned, planned, designed and meant: to blend
my life with Thine, till truly one we be
as I abide in Thee, and Thou in me.
What higher Good than this? Good I can't do
unless it is Thy Self, Lord, working through
and in and as this vessel formed by Thee.

O Gift of God, mine now be -- totally!
