So human nature of itself is sin?

Out of his heart man's awful evil springs.

I thought that Satan, dwelling deep within
doth father and put through men all such things.

He does! 'Tis how he rules o'er humankind.

Well, what I simply cannot understand
is how society can be so blind
as to attribute goodness unto man:
believe that he's of noble nature, mind ...
They've turned him loose to do just as he'd will
and wonder at the chaos they now find
on ev'ry hand -- men's readiness to kill
each other, cheat, deceive, exploit, rob, maim ...
