April 9 ~

Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses ... I am [Myself] the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in - adheres to, trusts in and relies on - Me, although he may die, yet shall he live ... As therefore you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so live in him ...

To an adventure doth the Lord call thee
(and me) -- a challenge marvelous and wild
which will, if taken, take thee totally
out of this lesser realm. Dare thee, O child,
no more from human viewpoints thy life see?
Dare take all things as coming from His hand
whilst He works all of them for good for thee?
Dare trust Him when thou do not understand?
Dare henceforth seek His will alone as thine?
Dare let Him reach His goal -- to be thy Life?
Dare turn from Self to have His thoughts and Mind?
Dare look, instead of Self, to Jesus Christ?
Dare totally thy life give up to Him?
His Love, Joy, Peace - His Life! - thou then wilt win!

From now on, therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view ... For all things originate with Him and come from Him ...
