August 3 ~

He who leans on, trusts in and is confident of his own mind and heart is a ... fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered ... Christ Jesus, whom God made our wisdom, our righteousness ... so walk in Him ... Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything ... Thou dost keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee ... "apart from Me you can do nothing" ... "Your Word is truth" ... "I am the Way, the Truth" ... the truth is in Jesus ... "the devil ... is a liar, and the father of lies" ... Fret not ... Be still and rest in the Lord ...

Must my anxieties, Lord, also go?
Do they, like anger, stem from sin, below?

They contradict the Scriptures, which are Truth.
Hence all anxieties men have in youth,
adulthood - life! - are ipso facto lies.
They are the voice of sin in Man! Be wise,
child. Walk in Wisdom. Do not trust thy mind.
Men know not whence their dark thoughts come. They're blind!
But I have opened up thine eyes and ears
to know that Satan puts in thee thy fears.
In Me thou wilt have peace. So thy mind stay
on Me. Seek righteousness in Me all day!
Let Me provide thy thoughts! Look unto Me.
From thy anxieties I'll set thee free!

I have told you these things so that in Me you may have perfect peace ... "do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear ... do not worry about tomorrow ... seek first his kingdom and his righteousness" ... behold, the kingdom of God is within you ... Christ Jesus is in you, except ye be reprobates ... we have the mind of Christ ... Looking unto Jesus ...
