Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his presence continually ... Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength [His might and inflexibility to temptation, seek and require His face and His presence continually] evermore ... set your minds and keep them set on what is above -- the higher things -- not on the things that are on the earth ...

Then I must never let - no matter what! -
my soul, my heart, my mind stay separate,
stay unaware of Thee within/without ...

Annoyance, Self-dislike, Fear, Fretting, Doubt:
such things should never hold me back from Thee
from seeking Thee by faith till I’m set free
from paltry humanhood - from Self itself! -
from constant Self-awareness, and thoughts else
that focus me on Earth's reality
this lesser realm of false apparency
where men, as in a dream, live out their lives
blind both to Thee, Lord, and the force that drives
them on, imprisoning each in his mind ...

O wondrous grace! -- when Thee the soul doth find!
