October 11 ~

He who trusts in his own mind is a fool; but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered ... Christ Jesus, whom God made our wisdom ... so walk in Him ...

If I each moment, Lord, could but recall
that Thou art e'er at hand amidst it all:
that though the spirit of this world is here
to flood my mind with falsity and fear,
he’ll flee from me when my internal eye
I raise by faith. Then lo! another "I,"
another outlook on this life doth come
as Thy Reality - Thy Realm, O Son -
I enter in, to there find joy and peace.
How suddenly the clamor all doth cease!
E'en here, in this dark world, amidst its strife
Thy Realm's dimension waits, holds out New Life.

A fool am I to waste my time in hell
when here and now in Heaven I can dwell!
