A Brief Review

There's nothing I can do apart from Thee
for in me, in my flesh, there's no good thing?
Upon my own I’ve no sufficiency
but yet can do all things through Thee, O King?
Thou art the Source of all things in my life
and work them all together for my good,
conforming, shaping me till I'm like Christ?
I, who am nothing? Then I clearly should
abide in Thee each moment that I live
until my very Life Thou dost become ...
This is the Prime Task that to me Thou give!
For Thou want me with Thee, Lord, to be one!

To blessed union with Thy Self Thou call
this paltry soul. Dear Jesus, be my All!
