A Final Reminder
No matter what it is that bothers me,
my first step is to look, Lord, unto Thee
to take away my troubled thoughts -
each one! -
and seek the peace found only in the Son.
No matter what it is, by Thee 'tis sent
and for my growth in Thee especially meant.
So being bothered's foolishness at best!
To harbor such removes me from Thy rest.
In ev'ry circumstance my stance should be,
Lord, thankful that Thou've sent it unto me!
If all things come from Thee, and work for good,
conforming -
cleaving! -
me to Thee, I should
take that perspective as my very own
so I may share, one day, Thy heav'nly throne ...
